Fascia is extfasciaends from the top of our head to the bottoms of our toes. It is the tissue that holds all of our organs, bones, veins, tendons, etc in place. Think of it as the plastic wrap that holds your sandwich together.

What is the relationship between a Rollga foam roller and our fascia?

Rollga is used to loosen tight fascia in our body. When we loosen fascia, we increase our range of motion and we reduce the interference in our nerves ability to communicate.

urlHave you ever tried peeling a tough batch of oranges that had a thick white fascia layer under the peel. It was difficult. Here is a tip to make it easier the next time you get a stubborn batch of oranges. Place the orange under your palm on the counter. Apply pressure and roll it around. Boom, your orange will be easier to peel. Why? because we broke up the fascia layer under the surface of the peel. A similar process happens when we use a foam roller. We looses that tough and thick fascia in our body, and by doing so, we increase our range of motion in our joints.
